“A week to inhabit the body. Listen to it, move it, let it speak. The body as experience, expression, journey. With yoga and mime, the body becomes language and the soul finds space.”
Who it is aimed at:
An experience open to those who work with the body, practise yoga or feel the desire for greater awareness.
Description of the retreat:
We walk through life every day, but rarely do we stop to listen as we will in this workshop: we will explore the body through its different qualities and let it express itself creatively. Between stillness and movement, breathing and silence.
Yoga prepares the body, mime frees expression.
A retreat that brings together the arts of mime and gesture and yoga, which will lead us to discover in a unique and profound way the universal language of our main ally in life:
THE BODY. The body as a place of memory, expression and transformation.
Through mime and danced gesture, we will explore metamorphosis, identification with the elements, animals, the walk of humanity, which sees the body become a child, adolescent, adult, elderly person, but also wind, ocean, storm, love and universe.
Yoga, offered in a form accessible even to those who have never practised it before, becomes a tool for listening, grounding and presence.
An experience open to those who work with the body in the performing arts, actors, dancers, singers, or those who practise yoga but are curious to express themselves in a more personal way, or more simply for those who feel the desire to inhabit their own body with greater awareness and truth.
A workshop where perfection is not sought, but authenticity.
Where you play, explore, fall and get back up with ease.
A moment suspended in time where you can listen to yourself and meet others, letting your BODY express what words often cannot.
Who accompanies this journey:
Two women, two different paths, a friendship that began when they were children.
One has dedicated her life to yoga, the other to mime.
Together they will guide this exploration, intertwining practices and languages.
