| AYURVEDA |
The
Sanskrit word Ayurveda can be translated as 'the
knowledge of life' and indicates
a system of olistic medicine.
Since it dates more than 5 thousand years, Ayurveda is the oldest
Science of Health. It's not only a medical system, it's a path
that leads to awareness and self realization, to the awakening
of our inner self, in respect of ourselves, of the planet and
all the creature.
As our lifestyle becomes increasingly
stressful, Ayurveda assists us in preventing illness,
maintaining our health and internal balance to ensure our
future longevity.
Ayurveda considering us as a union between mind,
body and spirit, teaches us how to reunite them in
order to achieve Health and Well Being through lifestyle reccomendations,
diet, yoga, meditation, herbal remedies and PanchaKarma Therapy.
Ayurveda is also the mother of antiaging and rejuvination
therapies incorporating the Science of Rasayana and the herbal
remedies which are designed to rejuvinate the mind and the
body.
According to Ayurveda, the material world
is made up by the five elements:
air, ether, water, fire and earth. The 5 elements, also join
together to form the Doshas.
The Doshas are Vatta (ether and air), Pitta
(fire and water) and Kapha (earth and water).
At the moment of our conception the Doshas present themselves
in different proportions to form our unique constitution.
An imbalance of our Doshas and our Agni (the digestive fire)
manifests as an illness.
This imbalance can be treated thanks to PanchaKarma cleansing
and rejuvenating therapies which (unique to Ayurveda) eliminate
physical and mental toxins, improving our overall health,
strengthening our immune system hence promoting longevity
and vitality.
