Yin YOGA AND CONNECTIONS WITH TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
The course in question is aimed at those who want deepen their knowledge of philosophy YIN AND YANG in yoga and the basics of traditional Chinese medicine, where originates the concept of polarity YIN / YANG applicable in all
aspects of life.
Yin Yoga is a simple practice, passive, left to the gravity of the body but very intense that teaches how to deeply relax the body, calm the emotions, stimulates the vital energy of the meridians and organs, and prepares the mind and body for the meditation. Yin Yoga is inspired by the Maoist concept of yin and yang, the right balance between opposing and complementary forces of nature. The purpose of yoga is to relax the muscles and yin
stimulate the connective tissue by applying an optimum voltage for a certain time and maintaining a deep breathing. In this way the fabric lengthens, strengthens and opens slowly, creating more space between the joints, improving the movement and making them more solid, stable and strong.
The study will focus on the concept of yin / yang and on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine
– Concepts and philosophy of Hatha Yoga
– Basic knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (qi, shen, 5 elements in nature and in the body, yin / yang, internal and external perverse energies that cause the disorders underlying disease)
– Yin yoga practices (deep stretching, static positions, which act on the connective tissue and lead to a greater awareness of their own limitations – targeted practices for the various organs / equipment to remove the blocks that do not allow the energy to move and flow freely )
Vanessa Fabbrilei – BIO:
Vanessa started yoga practice in 2006, after unpleasant personal events, and the yoga was a motion toward her healing. She teaches Chinese traditional medicine and reflexology, in her classes she creates the connection between yoga, psychosomatic and traditional Chinese medicine. She trained with an Indian teacher, so she deepened the yoga knowledge, physically and philosophically, then she attended a course recognized by YogaAlliance, Csen, Coni to have a recognized qualification as a teacher.

She teaches Hatha yoga, even though she likes to try to fit some reference to Ashtanga, arm balances, yin yoga and restorative yoga. Thanks to her studies in Chinese medicine, she loves to practice and teach Yin Yoga because she can find the maximum benefit from these two ancient philosophies that are connected between them much more that you might think.
