Manu and Bella Rossi – BIO:

Manu has been teaching yoga for 15 years in Italy, London and Oxford, and regularly travels to teach workshops and Mysore Programmes in Dubai, Japan and Europe. Manu is a Senior Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (UK). He began practicing Ashtanga yoga in 1997 with Francesco Sangalli in his hometown Montevarchi, Italy, and then studied with Lino Miele for 8 years, discovering step-by-step the benefits and transformative power of Ashtanga Yoga. This led Manu to study with Guruji Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India in 2005 and to make almost yearly visits to KPJAYI. From 2006-2009 Manu practiced daily with Hamish Hendry at Astanga Yoga London, who was a great inspiration for his practice and teaching.

Bella began regular yoga practice in Rishikesh, India in 1997, continuing for the next 3 years whilst working in education and environmental conservation in Laos, where she practiced Sivananda Yoga and started teaching in 1999. In 2001, after taking her first Ashtanga Yoga class with Cathy Louise Broda, Bella was immediately inspired to start a daily Ashtanga Yoga practice. From 2001-2008, Bella taught yoga in London, while practicing with and assisting Hamish Hendry and other authorised teachers at Astanga Yoga London, learning fundamental teaching skills and adjustments. She met Guruji Sri K.Pattabhi Jois and family in 2002 in London and practiced every year in their London workshops before finally, in 2006, going to study with them in Mysore, where she continues to practice with Sharath Jois as often as possible. In 2009, Bella and Manu established daily Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga classes in Oxford. Bella was blessed have her beautiful son, Orlando, in 2012 – the experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood has brought many new insights to her yoga practice and teaching. She is also a qualified Birthlight™ Perinatal yoga teacher, Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and Sivananda Yoga Teacher.
